Rating 

Carriers must incorporate twelve new property-specific factors into their rating plan.

Operational

Carriers must contract new vendors, implement new data sources, create new customer communications summarizing complex risk assessments including the impact of mitigation on their rates, and establish a new appeals process.

Timeline

Rating plans will need to incorporate new mandatory factors and be submitted to the Commissioner within 180 days. In short, carriers have to demonstrate their rate table reflects property-specific risk factors and accounts for mitigation efforts.
